Here's my rendition of one of my favorite Dilla joints, "Won't Do"
Featuring my original sounds for the EWI 4000s with no additional processing. Ableton Live is used for looping and the fade out at the end, controlled by a Korg NanoKontrol. Recorded February 29th in San Francisco.

Looping with the EWI, analog synths and pedals, no computer! Shout out to Malekko Heavy Industry for generously sending me their wonderful Spring-Chicken reverb pedal! Also Little Dragon for the beautiful tune and jazz bassoonist Paul Hanson for inspiring me with his use of delay.
My set up here is:
EWI - Midi into Waldorf Pulse - Audio, breath and pitch CV into Korg MS-20mini - audio into Digitech delay - audio into Boss Giga Delay (used as looper) - audio in to Malekko Spring Chicken Reverb - audio in to Rhodes Suitcase amp - audio line out and mic into Zoom Audio recorder.
